Description: Quarter-plate daguerreotype of a young couple. The woman is wearing a large brooch with a painted gold border, and her dress might have been originally tinted.. in some light it looks like it's a light purple color... if it was originally tinted it's now faded.Housed in a full case. The daguerreotype is still sealed and appears to be in excellent condition - all of the spots appear to be stuck to the underside of the glass and should clean off easily, but I didn't want to break the original seals.
