This is either sisters in same family or before and after photos of the same pretty young woman as she grew up, the brass decor matts around photos are slightly different so maybe taken 12 or so years apart, BEAUTIFUL CASE PHOTO CONDITION: photos are clear bright, baby photo has a couple of small spots of missing black backing CASE CONDITION: Nice case, is in one piece BUT close inspection shows a piece of very old tape at edge seam to keep case together, nice matching embossed design, clasp works perfectly An original AMBROTYPE made BEFORE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR, backing of clear glass covering with black material WEIGHS: 3 ounces MEASURES: photo is 2" x 2.5"
