Description: This is a very nice Bowie knife stamped “James Conning 1862” on one side of the blade and “C.S.A. Mobile Alabama” on the other side of the blade. Additionally it is stamped “3rd VA” on one side of the guard and “J.B. Webb” on the other side. It has a bone handle and is in very nice condition. The blade measures 10” with the whole knife measuring about 14.5”. I purchased at an auction and am unsure of the authenticity. Please take into consideration when purchasing.
