This volume comprises a general history of North and Midwestern states such as Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. Publisher’s decorative green cloth binding shows normal wear, including rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, general wear around the extremities, bumping to the corners and some soiling and light spotting to the page edges. Gilt lettering to the spine still reads nicely from the shelf despite some rubbing; gilt decorated front board displays nicely in your hands. Internally this volume is in great shape overall. Both boards remain attached to the binding and all page groupings secure. No signatures, inscriptions, bookplates or additional markings to note. The text block itself is very well preserved throughout! Pages show some toning from age, and some minor foxing in spots towards the end, but are otherwise clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout!
