With original envelope in which the photographs were sent (to Mr W. Poyser in Edgware) postmarked 12 June 1931. Very Good condition. One photo with very good tones, the other slightly paler. Minor corner creasing. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, and view gallery images closely.These photographs give an insight into the working life of an English sculptor in 1931, with excellent detail. He is pictured working on a copy of St George by Donatello. He has written some notes on the rear, with dates and background information. These state that the piece was modelled in 1929 and carved in 1931, from Settin stone. Some of Parkin's other pieces can be seen on the shelves in the background. key words:
