1940’s Toile Celadon High Victorian Garden Portraits Barkcloth Vintage Fabric

Description: This offering is for ONE remnant of spectacular thick and nubby barkcloth in a rare celadon green ground...a design inspiration showcasing high victorian times...perhaps a portrait in the renaissance gardens...so much to look at...so much to pinch in on...bonnets and hats...urns...almost swirled and swished on a cloud of neoclassical flora and scrolls. It is signed...but I might need a magnifying glass for this one...it is tinier than most...so I will leave that to you to read...this is unused unwashed old stock...in brand new condition as brand new as the day it was made circa 1945. A colorway...so grand and unlike the others...a tangerine coral peach medley...purple...teal aqua turquoise green...chartreuse banana...creamy limes...coffee...dove gray...with black and white accents. Measures 47 inches wide x 38 inches long. Flawless. I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience.
