Description: Original Vintage Korean War 1951-53 Photo I just removed from USMC Marine 1951-3 Sgt Robert Alfred Flint of Blanchardville, WI. Korean Album. All photos are from Korea but nothing written in album or on backs of photos. Looks like from the photos he was a mechanic & or heavy equipment operator with Marine 1st Engr, BN. Photo from back of album shows what his unit could be: Always Able Engineers, Able Company, 1st Engr. BN, 1st Mar. Div F.M.F Sign. More research needed. From his online obit: Robert "Bob" Flint, age 80, of Argyle, WI, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born June 20, 1931, in Blanchardville, WI, the son of Charlie and Gertrude (Wyttenbach) Flint. Bob served in the United States Marine Corps from August 9, 1951 until August 8, 1953 as a Sergeant during the Korean War. there is even more info on Bob at Find a Grave including = "Bob lived in Argyle most of his life.
