Description: This 1953-D Lincoln Wheat Penny is not in the best condition. But it does have some doubling on the obverse and reverse. On the obverse of the coin you can see machine doubling in the date, the mint mark, the word "Liberty", and in "In God We Trust". Also, looking closely at the word "Trust" you can see that the last "T" in "Trust" is missing! Moving to the reverse of the coin you can see doubling in the words "E Pluribus Unum", "One Cent", and "United States of America". Again looking closely at "E Pluribus Unum" you can see that the "R" in the word "Pluribus" has a dye mark making it ineligible giving the coin some character. Doubling can also be seen in the wheat stem on the reverse of the coin. This coin has some errors, but because of the condition, Its price will drop. With that being said I believe a fair price would be $45. Please feel free to leave me feedback or send me an offer.
