Description: 1954 L&N Magazine - Employee's magazine for L&N Railway. The magazines have been hole punched and bound between cover boards (read condition notes below). Twelve issues are included, January - December of 1954. These old L&N Magazines are full of interesting information about the railing and employees back in the 50s. Please see photos. Condition Notes: The metal binder prongs are rusty. The binder covers have wear. The cover of the January issue is creased. The magazine pages are in good condition for their age but they do show signs of being read and handled. The magazines have been hole punched and bound between cover boards. This type of binding makes it difficult to read the text near the inside margin of the pages and the magazines would be easier to read if removed from the binding.
