I removed this coin myself from an Original 1959-P Mint Sewn Bag. It has never been in circulation or in the hands of another collector. If this nickel was graded it would have an estimated value of $4,750.00 (as of 6-9-24) if it grades MS67FS (which I believe it would grade that or higher) If it grades higher the value will be substantially higher. PCGS hasn't even placed a value on the 2017-D MS68FS PL (pictured below) on their web site yet. I get my information directly from PCGS's web site. I would assume new as well as experienced collectors would verify this information by going to PCGS web site and see for themselves that I am stating the facts correctly. But some buyers need visual aides. 2024 UPDATE For the last couple years I have been daring buyers to compare my nickels with PCGS's and NGC's nickels. I would say "Pictures Don't Lie". Well take a look at the attached pictures below. I have heard recently from some of my clients that PCGS and NGC are actually using my nickels that I sold them (my clients), that they sent in to get graded, as their top examples. If you read the feedback left for me in the attached pictures you will read that PCGS just gave a 2017-D Jefferson nickel I sold a grade of MS68FS PL. That is the highest graded business strike coin they have graded. I have attached some other examples my clients have sent me of NGC graded coins and one ANACS. They were graded MS68FS, MS69FS, MS68 "Satin Finish" and MS69 respectively. These are the types of nickels they are receiving from me. PLEASE NOTE: My nickels almost always look better in real life than the pictures I have included. These new HD cameras show reflections, pick-up the flesh tones from my arm or the black on the camera and drive me crazy. That is why I am always taking so many different pictures from different lighting angles. This is a beautiful nickel that is really not shown in the pictures.
