Description: A quirky but delightful product of 1961 highlighting 33 players from the Hall of Fame. Full color fronts with statistical info on the reverse. The cards were originally issued in a cardboard booklet and I'm happy to say I purchased 5 of them "back in the day" from our 5 and Dime store in downtown San Luis Obispo. Wish I had all of them back! The cards were perforated but removing them was tedious and many cards were creased or damaged in their removal. Tsk tsk... Also, the first three cards (Ott, Alexander and Ruth) plus the last five cards (Johnson, Speaker, Lajoie, Wagner and Cy Young) were part of the cover of the booklet so they are often found in lesser condition compared to the others. DiMaggio sells relatively high compared to other cards. Except for a couple of cards with a stained reverse these cards are pretty darn nice. I will try to list tears, wrinkles or creasing... BUT PLEASE REFER TO THE SCANS! I've tried to take into consideration ALL major defects in the assigned grade. NOTE: AS OF 12-09-20 I WILL BEGIN LISTING THOUSANDS OF CARDS 1955 - 1975.
