Description: 1963-DUS Lincoln Wheat Cent, Penny, Coin#1 (Free Shipping) Coin is ungraded. These pictures are of the coin you will receive. The images are of the highest resolution that my camera would allow. Please look closely at the pictures (zoom in) before bidding, as this coin is not professionally graded. I am not an expert at grading coins, therefore I will let the pictures speak for the coin. Any coins I have that are graded show the grade somebody else did, and was on the coin when I purchased it. I am beginning to break up a batch of coins that I accumulated in my youth, and will be listing a few from time to time, so please look at my other items for sale. You may see something that you must have for your collection! Your coin will be shipped in a #10 envelope, in a paper coin flip. REMEMBER: Your coin ships FREE! Thank you for looking. Note: Sales to United States only. History Lesson:Victor D. Brenner designed this cent, which was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln?s birth. The designer?s initials (V.D.B.) appear on the reverse of a limited quantity of cents of 1909. The initials were restored, in 1918, to the obverse side on Lincoln?s shoulder. The Lincoln type was the first cent to have the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. (Source: The Official Red Book, A Guide book of United States Coins 2019 by R.S. Yeoman)
