Description: 1966 Coronet 500 Convertible - Originally a 318 vehicle - 1 of only 1533 made in 1966. My long time buddy owned this car for over 20 years, he was a dodge mechanic for 35 years. He built a strong running 440 engine in it, 727 trans with a 2800 stall speed, 3.91 - 8.75 rear in it. This is a great running car that sounds great and has ran in the high 10's and low 11's - 15+ years ago. He had nitrous on it to get in the high tens, only ran it a few times like that. I have owned the car now for 5 years and put 2500+ trouble free miles on it, great sounding driver. The car has mostly original paint, it is faded and old. I get a lot of compliments on the car. Everything works, gas gauge is off due to sending unit was not installed correctly. It has a new gas tank and sending unit. When I bought the car, I had all new brake pads, wheel cylinders replaced. It looks like a survivor car. The pass rear 1/4 has bondo in it and was painted, the bottom of both doors have rust bubbles that have been the same for the past 25 years, rust bubble above the rear 1/4 molding. This is a easy fix if anyone wanted to fix and paint. The car is a lot of fun to drive. The passenger rear window came off the track, nothing wrong with the track goes up and down perfect, need to remove lower interior panel to get the window. Small payoff through my credit union which you can confirm. More pictures on my phone - ask questions
