Description: This 1984 Clad Proof Set includes proof coins of 1C, 5C, 10C, 25C, and 50C denominations, struck in San Francisco. The coins are made of copper-plated zinc and copper-nickel, and come in their original government packaging. The set is uncirculated and certified by the U.S. The front & back of the 50 cent, 25 cent and 5 cent pieces show cloudiness. Others seem to be fine. I'm sorry my photos aren't as well-done as some. I don't know how to get rid of the glare and reflections. This set is a one-owner item - my husband. His grandmother started his collection in 1956 when he was just 9 years old. She gave one each year until she passed. Then I kept up the tradition of giving him one at Christmas - the last one being 2022. He loved them and I hope someone else now can feel the same way. I will pack it carefully in a bubble wrap envelope. We have always stored our items in our smoke-free and pet-free home.
