Description: This is a 1984 soft-cover booklet (see picture), entitled OSCAR WILDE AT OXFORD, written by renowned author Richard Ellmann. It was a lecture delivered by Ellmann at the Library of Congress on March 1, 1983. This booklet provides an insight into the four years that Irish poet and playwright Oscar Wilde spent at Oxford, beginning in October 1874. There are a few black and white pictures in the booklet. It is clean and intact, exhibiting little wear or creasing from handling and storage over the past 40 years. There appears to be no handwriting in the booklet; however, the front and back covers are discolored from age and perhaps exposure to the sun. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Richard Ellmann enthusiast, Oscar Wilde historian, or booklet collector in your life! Postage is $4.50. And, of course I'll combine postage on multiple purchases. Sorry, NO international shipping. Be sure to check the other items in my eBay store, too!
