Description: See pictures for best description. This steel thermometer was made to be attached to stovepipe from woodburning stove. It indicates temperature and helps user determine efficient operation. It still has original screw attached to its face. That screw would go thru the center hole and into stovepipe. Check out all of the pictures. It is very well-made of stout metal (not tin). It is about 40 years old but I think it should still work as it should. I like it for as an LL Bean collectible. Note that the temperature scale is not for a regular home range but for the hot stove range. It reads Fahrenheit. Thanks for viewing.
