Description: This listing is for a pair of Original 1985 Nike Air Jordan I sneakers in size 12. The shoes have been worn very lightly and are in amazing overall condition. The uppers look about as good as they can for their age. The leather is very nice and bright overall with minimal signs of wear. The soles show light wear and are still flexible. Most of the stars on the soles are still present on the toes. No holes. The collars have hardened and show some internal crumbling. From a presentation or display standpoint, this is one of the best pairs out there that has not been painted or refurbished or altered from original form. While I appreciate the talent that many folks in the sneaker world have, I am not into painting or sole swapping or changing the originality of these classic sneakers. The original box is included. As you can see, it is in very rough condition. I did not attempt to tape it up or manipulate it at all. There is also some tissue paper included. I am not sure how to tell if it is the original tissue paper, but it has yellowed over time, so it very likely could be. I received this exact tissue paper in this exact box when I received it a few years ago, so I have no reason to think it is not the original tissue paper. If anyone has a definite way to tell, let me know, and I will do my best to tell you if it checks out. The OG Air Jordan I is the ultimate shoe for any collector or investor. This is the shoe that jump-started sneaker culture as we know it. They are becoming harder and harder to find, especially unmodified from original form, and their value will only increase with time.
