As the two women fight it out, the male members of the group watch as the brawl carries out. One of my favourite covers of all time by Ron Wilson. The Champion comes to earth to battle all the Marvel heavyweights for the fate of the world. One by one they fight and lose. The Thing is last and puts up a good fight but just can’t win. The Thing shows his true essence by getting up each time he’s knocked down and just won’t give up. This courage impresses The Champion who decides to spare earth. Super fun issue.
