2 Vintage Large Red & Blue Poppy Flowers Glass Christmas Ornament W Germany

Description: Offering a pair of extra-large vintage Christmas ornaments. They are a complementary pair. Each has a pair of poppy flowers ~ one on each side. There are also branches of leaves beside each flower. One ornament has red flowers, the other ornament has blue flowers. Each petal on both ornaments is outlined with dark mica to add some glitz to the ornaments. They measure 3 1/2" in diameter. They are vintage and do have a few issues. The leaves on the red one have faded somewhat. There is some loss of inside silvering that shows as darkened areas (mostly on the blue flower ornament). Both ornaments have metal caps that are embossed with West Germany ~ dating these ornaments from between 1949 to 1990. All are subject to some surface scratches, flaking to the paint, crazing of paint, age spots, oxidation, silvering loss, nicks around or under caps, may have tarnish / discoloration to metal caps, and some may not have the original caps.
