Description: 250 Organic, non-GMO Columbine Seeds - Michigan Grown! Perfect for FALL OR SPRING PLANTING (yes, even in temperate places where it's already cold), since that's when the seeds naturally fall from the flowers and are sown. Plus, many columbines are natives to North America! A truly low-maintenance flower, which I happen to love because I'm a lazy flower gardener ;) These fresh seeds were harvested by hand from mature plants in the 2022 season in southeast Michigan (Lenawee County, USDA Zone 6a). Please note that the flower colors may vary from the pictures; columbines can range widely - and beautifully - from white to yellowish to light violet to deep blue to dark purple/indigo. All are gorgeous though, and you will be delighted by their delicate but exotic intricacy. For planting instructions, please check online. The rules are simple but MUST be followed for good germination, especially cold stratification requirements. Please note: The seeds are very small. Your quantity will appear small, but rest assured I have put at least the 250 advertised in the title. For ballpark numbers, 1/4 teaspoon columbine seeds = approximately 500 seeds, so 1/8 tsp = +/-250 seeds. I put over 1/8 teaspoon so you don't think I'm cheating you :)
