Description: A Royal System Cado wall unit by Poul Cadovius. Poul Cadovius' Royal System was first introduced in 1945. Poul made the unit to create a space saving shelving system that rid them of wooden and metal legs, opting for a wall mounting system instead. He primarily used Danish teak wood to create these units. These incredibly popular modular wall units featured a variety of designs and features. Our particular listing features a 3 bay design. Each bay features a variety of cabinets shelves and cupboards. This set includes 4 standard shelves, one including a brass light fixture on the underside. Also included is a single display shelf for art or literature, and a small two drawer cabinet shelf. The bottom row features a drop down cupboard with lock and key, a 4 drawer cabinet, and a 2 door sliding door shelf cabinet. This entire wall unit is in very good condition.
