Description: A Man (identified possibly as "G. Evans") with a beautiful bicycle, a Cabinet Card from the studios of Williams & Williams Photographers, Cardiff, UK, 1902. The front of the card features the image, as well as gold lettering and a gold edge. The back of the card is printed elaborately, listing their other locations in England as Bath, Newport, Hereford, Pontypridd, Swansea, Shrewsbury, and Bristol. Also, on the back of the card is written in pencil, the image #36556 and "G. Evans (Pl??) 1902". The man pictured wears a cap and a suit & tie. Attached to his lapel and cap are what appear to be possibly cycling related pins or pendant badges. The bike looks serious with dropped handlebars, a stem mounted light, tool bag, air pump, and pedals with toe clips. The cabinet card is in fine condition. The image does have the condition issue of cross-shaped linear abrasions. These were most likely caused by perhaps other photos on an opposing page in an album where this card once was kept. These are not overwhelming since the image itself is strong and nicely exposed. Thanks for viewing. Be sure to check out my other items listed. I am regularly listing more such things. This is a no reserve auction. Domestic: Shipping. International shipping may require a bit more on the postage part.
