Description: From an old estate from the Circleville Ohio area is this early 1800's silhouette. It appears to be in a very old and most likely original frame that has an interesting painted sawtooth border. The portrait is very well detailed, a much better than average example. The silhouette may be from Virgina, the name on the back reads Jefferson Sinclair. A little research shows this is possibly from eastern Virginia. You are the expert! I am selling this item as just an old guaranteed to be antique silouhette! A fine example;e for many great Americana collections.
