Description: AMD FX-8300 FD8300WMW8KHK 3.3GHz (Max 4.2GHz) 8-core Socket AM3+ 938-pin CPU+ASRock 760GM-HDV AMD 760G Micro-ATX DDR3 Motherboard I'm selling a CPU that I bought from a Chinese wholesaler on Ebay a few years ago. I used it in a vintage AM3 build to play some exclusive titles from 2012, and it worked wonderfully until I moved on to other projects. It's a fantastic CPU for overclocking! The motherboard is also relatively new, purchased from Amazon only 3-4 years ago. I want to be upfront that I'm currently unable to confirm the CPU's condition. When I tried installing it on a budget test bench, the motherboard stopped working. I suspect it may have short-circuited since it no longer attempts to boot. Unfortunately, I no longer have the spare hardware to test the CPU's functionality. So while I believe the CPU is likely fine and the motherboard is the issue, I can't rule out the possibility that both might be affected. Or both could be working fine and I didn't test it extensively enough before moving on which is also possible. There's a bit of dried thermal paste on the pins on the right side, but I want to assure you that none of the pins are damaged. When I first received the CPU from the original seller, the pins were slightly bent, but it still seats into the socket with a bit of jiggling and readjustment. It's currently properly seated in the motherboard and will be shipped that way. The back of the CPU's IHS also has some scratches and wear from the previous seller.
