There is a bright cut leaf at base of handle connecting to the gold washed pierced fluted bowl. Scalloped edges. Single period monogram S Reverse is plain with the date April 1862. Hallmark for Albert Coles working in NYC 1836-1876. Photographed in as found estate condition, minor wear from age and use, will be gently hand polished prior to shipping.
