Description: Mia is 2008’s American Girl Doll of the Year. She was available from January 2008 until December 2008, when she was retired. Her neck is stamped American Girl LLC 2E08. She also has the mark under her right ear (see pic) and her box numbers are F7242-BF1A. She comes wearing her “Meet Outfit”. Her eyes open and shut without hesitation. She is clean and without stains and comes from a non-smoking home. Her hair is shiny and silky feeling, free from frizz and tangles. My daughter received many American Girl dolls throughout the years but only actively played with a few of them in order to preserve the beautiful dolls. Mia has been opened but not played with. She was displayed on a shelf and since, has been stored in her box in the closet. She does come with her original box that is in excellent condition but the little bands that hold the dolls inside the box are gone. My daughter is selling her collection to raise money to help pay for college. I do have many other American Girl dolls that I will be listing (18” and mini’s), so please check them out!
