Description: This dress is made in the style of the early 1900s children's dresses. It is made of a light cotton that has a ticking-like pattern of stripes. There are ruffled at the bodice and hem, and sweet lace trim on the bodice. For reference. This dress came to me with a headless Victorian era doll that was headless. The doll was most likely German. I have included a photo of the doll in the listing so you can see the body type the dress fits. ***The doll is not included in this listing.*** I believe the original doll was 22" without its head, but I can't remember for certain. I did not try this dress on the doll, so it may have been made for another doll, I'm not sure. There are no closures, but this appears to be original, as there are no buttonholes seen. Perhaps it was pinned shut? One sleeve has a tiny area at the cuff that will need to be stitched, but it's not too noticeable either. There is overall color fade commiserate with the (likely) age. This fading is a bit irregular when looked at closely. Overall good condition considering its likely over 100 year age.
