Description: Wonderful, large antique German bisque head baby doll by Kammer & Reinhardt Simon & Halbig....mold 126....c. 1910....measures approximately 20" tall....back of head is clearly marked....Excellent Condition....clean....bisque head is excellent with no damage or repairs....the splotch on the forehead is just a little area of excess original flesh paint that happened during the original manufacture....original glass eyes appear to retain original eyelid wax and plasters (reinforced at some point in the past)....factory-original five-piece composition body has mostly-original paint and shellac, however had some light, conservatively done touch-up to the lower portion of both arms and legs (see last three photos)....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
