Description: Up for sale is a Brenkert Model D glass slide projector produced as near as I can tell in the early 1920's. It comes with 61 glass slides that measure 3 1/4" x 4" and were used for Masonic lectures in Masonic Lodges in the early to mid 20th century before the advent of more modern equipment. I plugged this machine in and it still work fine (see image in pictures). Even the 100 year old cord switch works with no problem! The bellows is in great shape with no cracks or tears. I'm certain this item has been in storage and not used at all for the past 50+ years and from its appearance rarely used before then. It comes with a sturdy metal carrying box with the Brenkert name on either end. Also, packed in the bottom of the box were several Detroit (where Brenkert was located) newspapers dated 1924. Kind of interesting to read what was going on back nearly 100 years ago! I will include these with the sale. Shipping by Fedex ground.
