Description: A pair of antique hand-colored prints : French and Spanish Costumes Examples of dress in France and Spain from the 1400s to 1600s. At the lower-left is " French Costume in the reign of Louis XIII ", who was the king in " The Three Musketeers ", the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas. Also, note the curious costume of the 17th century French woman. ------- Each print is 6" x 9.5" Hand-colored ( with watercolor paints ). Undated, however these prints were made in 1853. This prints are 170+ years old. Carefully packed for shipment to the buyer.
