Description: Early 20th century arm band from the Dinka tribe of Southern Ethiopia. The bracelet is lightweight and hand made from nickel and it has been hand stamped with a decorative pattern. It has a minimalist, almost industrial aesthetic that doesn't appear very often in African antiques. The bracelet has been originally stamped with a decorative pattern and is heavily worn but in very good condition given its age and origin. The bangles are unisex, I wear mine on the upper forearm. The metal is rigid and cannot be opened. The last photo shows the three styles I currently have in stock, each piece is unique and the listing is for one arm band. Diameter: 2 3/4" 7cm Width: 1 1/8" 3cm Weight: 52g Please see my store for other antique African jewelry. Combined shipping available. Please ask any questions prior to purchase. Thank you! All items are 100% authentic and have been previously worn, often in a traditional environment. Every effort has been made to describe any significant flaws in both words and pictures in the listings however a certain amount of wear should always be expected. Handmade items should also be expected to contain irregularities which I believe adds to their character and does not detract in any way from their quality.
