Antique Hard Cover Photobook – Beautiful Print Cover – Cloth Covering

Description: Offered here is this Antique Hard Cover Photobook. It is book bound, and has a lovely print of a young couple on the front cover. The book is in good condition, but the pages are quite yellowed from age. Some of the paper inserts inside the photo openings is missing, and there are a few small tears in some of the pages as well. There are 12 pages total in the book. Some of them are made for one larger size photo, and a few in the back are made to have two smaller photos. They are made of a cardboard, and are quite yellowed with age, although I am unsure of the actual age of the book. It has a nice velvety fabric covering over the outer portions of the book and the pages all have gilt edging. There is a thin stamped copper locking mechanism on the outer edge of the book to latch it closed. The book is 10.5” top to bottom, and 8.5” wide to side when closed. There are some areas on the cover where there is wear, and some scratches on the finish of the print. There are stamped accents at the corners of the front cover as well. This is a nice, usable antique scrapbook. It is NOT acid free paper, as it is quite old. It makes a genuinely nice collectible.
