Description: DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Up for sale is a vintage ceramic scroll striker and possibly a vase match or candle holder and a small flower for holding a match possibly like a Go-to-Bed. A Go-to-Bed was used rather than risk taking a lit candle near to the fabric the lit match on the mantlepiece would burn for long enough for the person to snuff out the candle and get into bed. The base measures about 2 5/8" by 1 3/4" and stands about 1 3/4" tall at the highest point. It is marked on the base 1768 III and there is a small painted mark on the base as well.It looks to be in a good condition.
