Description: Antique Primitive Steel Cheese Wheel Cutter Slicer with Wooden Handle An antique primitive steel Cheese Wheel Cutter with a wooden handle. It dates back to the early 1900’s. This primitive tool was used to cut the large wheels of cheese in the old cheese houses. The wire is not present on the cheese cutter. Very nice condition and beautiful patina. They are so very hard to find in today’s markets. Measures 16 inches from top of the metal arc to where the wire should be. It is 21 inches at its widest. The handle including the metal attachment measures 6.50 inches in length. The metal arc tapers to two hook that is for attaching the cutting wire. No cutting wire included in this listing.
