Description: Antique Silver Plated Thomas Wilkinson & Son's Entree Dish with a Removable Divider An antique silver plated Thomas Wilkinson & sons entree plate with a removable divider. Founded by Thomas Wilkinson in 1832, active at Pelican Works with the trademark Pelican Silver. In 1840 it was situated in the High Street, Sheffield and was advertised as By Special Appointment to Her Majesty. The plate has a repeating pattern on both the edge of the plate and on the removable divider. On the underside near the central hole is the 'T W' mark with the Pelican in a shield follows by '& S', dating this piece to c1870. It's in excellent condition with no damage. There is one small area where the silver plate has worn thin, it's small approx 0.5cm x 0.5cm. Diameter: 20cm Height: 18cm
