The sign is sealed with a matte clear coat for easily cleaning. The back of the sign is sealed and has a keyhole hanger on back for easy hanging.This sign is rated for outdoor use. I design all of my signs and enjoy coming up with the sayings and advertising to paint. I do my best to put my own spin on each design I create. No two signs are identical due to the characteristics of the wood I use. A big factor is the grain of the wood, knotholes etc. Please be aware that the staining process I use does darken the color of the sign.I have been designing and painting signs since 2001.
