Description: Artist 20" Bisque Head Kestner 14 ~ Closed Mouth ~ French Body ~ Silk Costume This is an artist made bisque head doll using the early Kestner closed mouth mold marked only with a "14". She has set blue glass eyes, feathered brows, rosy cheeks free from rubs, and a closed mouth. She has a blonde human hair wig in long ringlets. She measures 20" long with a French style body having straight wrists. I am not sure if the material is composition or a resin. She poses fine and has been restrung. Her outfit is custom made by the artist, Margie's Dolls. The dress is dark blue silk with vintage trim, pleated skirt, cotton slip and matching undies.
