Description: Up for sale is a beautiful large sterling silver scalloped serving spoon made by Baker Manchester in the Poppy pattern. It measures 8 15/16” in length and weighs approximately 68 grams. The back of the handle is marked with Baker Manchester’s signature mark and Sterling. This piece is in nice condition, and it has been hand polished for your immediate use. The piece has use marks and scratches. One of the scallops has a slight bend to it, there is a deeper scratch and a slight deflection in the bowl. The pattern is bold with beautiful darkness in the recesses. It does have a fancy script monogram on the front and someone hand scribed a “B” on the back of the handle.
