Each sink is a literal hewn stone. There are natural variations in each sink and small fissures may be visible. Your sink is tested before shipment to ensure water fastness and proper drainage with an open grid drain (1 -5/8"). Larger drains have been used by our clients with success. However, these can impede water flow if improperly installed. You can modify each sink with a diamond bit to smooth or widen the drain gradient.
