Battles fought by the Bulgarian army against the advancing forces of the Entente on the southern front of the First World War in the area of the town of Doiran. The medal is in honor of the soldiers of the legendary 9th Pleven Division in the period 1915-1917. The medal has a diameter of 30 mm. Made of zinc and is silver-plated.
