Description: Circa 1912, in or near Dover Village, Ohio a group of workers are seen picking what we believe to be strawberries. "Westlake, OH" has been hand-written, at a much later date, to the back of the card The white title reads "Picking To Their Hearts Content For Irving C. Fauver.". The people shown here were very possibly migrant farm workers. This area of northeastern Ohio hosted any number of large fruit farms during this time period. The photo is is printed on CYKO photographic paper. This stamp box was used by CYKO starting in 1904 and continued into the 1920s. Image: 3 7/8" x 3 3/8"; Full: 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
