This is an exact duplication of the original. Acid etched on aluminum, with raised graphics and borders, this plate measure 2 and 3/8 inches by 3 and 7/8 inches. I have found that most early Continental Data Plates become nothing more than lettering on a shiny aluminum plate over time. For those restoring and rebuilding, no doubt, this plate will highlight your restoration. I have sold these to engine shops that simply put them over the old plates and some folks with to frame them for simply the look. I stand behind what I sell.
