The 10t cog also has a damaged portion of its spline where it mates with the 12t cog—it is fairly common to accidentally install the 10t cog incorrectly, which results in this damage (see photo for detail). Despite this damage, this cassette is in good condition with no damage compromising its rideworthiness and no scuffs or scrapes inconsistent with a used bicycle part; however, care must be taken to ensure that the 10t cog is installed correctly in order for the shift ramps to align as Shimano intended. As long as the 10t cog is oriented such that the damaged portion of spline fits in its intended recess, the cog will function as intended. Thank you for your consideration.
