He is shown as he would have appeared during the German Campaign (War of German Liberation) 1813-1814. Napoleon appears haggard and worn fresh from the disastrous retreat from Russia. His enemies, the converging Nations of Europe smell blood but are aware Napoleon still possesses the confidence of a great strategist and battlefield tactician coupled with the dangerous resolve of one who's back is to the wall. His downfall must be paid for with a heavy price. This original piece is offered by the award winning historical artist, Daniel HorseChief.
