Description: DC COMICS GREEN LANTERN #40 OCT 1965 (VFN-) 1ST APP KRONA CRISIS COMIC (LL) Great vintage DC Comics Green Lantern comic book from October 1965. Issue number 40. VFN- condition. 1st appearance of Krona. Crisis begins. Origin of The Guardians of the Universe. Golden age Green Lantern team up with Silver age Green Lantern (or Earth 1 & Earth 2 Green Lanterns). Part of my prized comic book collection which I bought in the 1980s. When I bought this in the 1980s, I was told this was the first comic where Golden age Green Lantern and Silver Age Green Lantern had ever met. VFN- condition. Photo 1 shows that the left side spine is a bit curved (has been kept in a comic box in a bag for 38 years so must have moved in transit...I could not buy backing boards in the 1980s...it was difficult enough to buy comics where I lived). Photo 2 shows a vintage price stamp on the cover. Photo 11 shows a tiny tiny tear on the bottom of the spine. No tears and no pen writing on the pages inside. Binding and pages inside are in great condition considering the comic is 59 years old. NOTE: ALL COMICS SOLD WILL BE SENT IN A NEW COMIC BAG AND BACKING BOARD.See photos for examples of pages inside.
