Description: Dometic 310 & 311 toilet's upper ceramic bowl becomes loose and allows toilet wastewater to FILL the lower hollow plastic pedestal. These parts are NOT available from Dometic. If you notice the ceramic bowl seems loose and can rock back and forth, or a strong odor or liquid seeping out from between the ceramic bowl and plastic lower pedestal, you may have this problem. The toilet needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY or you risk rotting out the floor due to constant standing wastewater under the toilet. Don't buy a new toilet for several hundred dollars. Dometic does NOT supply new repair parts (they want to sell you a new toilet). These parts are an upgrade to the OEM parts. Made of durable plastic and upgraded larger stainless-steel screws, unlike the steel OEM parts. Simple Installation: Remove the toilet from the RV; (two flange nuts at base and water connection). Next, remove the 4 old, rusted screws and pull out the 4 old nylon grommets. Install the 4 new grommet nuts perfectly sized for the openings in the ceramic bowl. Tighten the bowl to the plastic base using the new STAINLESS screws and washers. Problem solved! Takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
