Description: July 1939 edition of Double Detective featuring a great mise en scene cover from Rudolph Belarski and a stacked line-up of authors including Richard Sale, Dale Clark, John Butler, Edwin Truett and more. Any given issue of this title can be hard to track down. Good condition. Solid reader copy with supple pages. The main flaw with issue is the gnaw at the bottom left corner, otherwise the cover presents pretty well but with some distributor pencil marks, discoloration and edge wear. One staple has been replaced due to rust, and two pieces of archival tape are present on the last page. Corner crease and chipping to back cover. The only copy of this issue on eBay, priced in line with grade, catch it while you can. I'm not an expert grader, so please look carefully at the many quality photos and determine the grade and condition for yourself. I'm happy to answer any questions.
