Pattern is COMET by Doyle and Co Glass aka DOYLE’S COMET, Draped Fan, U.S. Comet pattern Circa 1880s EAPG Early American Pattern Glass Pressed glass This offering includes: —Matching pair of 2 Open Sugar Bowls. Each sugar measures approximately 5-1/2” tall and 4” in diameter. —One Open Comport / Compote. The comport measures approximately 6-1/2” tall and 6-1/4” in diameter. Antique preowned items. No chips or cracks. Glass is clear - no purpling. Shows expected signs of gentle use and light wear as well as a few strawmarks and one sugar has an air bubble right on the rim, and also has a tiny rough spot - a tiny little extra blob of glass near one of the arch/fans. This is an original characteristic and occurred during manufacturing. It is not a chip or damage. Comport has some light scratches attributed to age, use and shelf storage as well as expected strawmarks and air bubbles inside the glass.
