Description: I am not an expert on large antique view cameras, so may not be naming all the parts correctly. For sale here is Eastman Kodak 2D 10" x 8" view camera, with a lens, its original case, 3 film holders, 2 rails and some other part. The camera is in great, solid, clean and working condition. Made of, mainly, mahogany and brass. As far, as I can tell, all the functions work as they should, except for one. The rack and pinion for the front, focusing standard, while seem to be in good shape (in terms of gears), skids and needs some help in propelling it forward. Once it's moved forward, the knob on the left, secures it fine and the standard fixes firmly upright. I think it's a matter of an easy adjustment for someone handy. The bellows look to be in great shape and free of light leaks. The lens is Wollensak 302 mm, F: 4.5 in its case. Unbelieably clean and free of scratches. The blades are clean and move smoothly. Tesed fine for T and B settings, but seems to fire at the same speed at all other settings. In my estimate, at around 1/20th of a sec. The original camera case is in very good shape for its age, with fabric-lined compartmets and a lid inside. Included are 3 film backs. 2 are newer, in good condition and 1 is an older one, which is fine, but missing a wooden piece at the bottom. There are 2 railings (?) included. They can be attached together to allow for, I think, close-up photography. I prefer a local-pick up, so you can inspect everything and, if you don't like it, cancel the purchase. If I need to ship it, it is being sold "as is", with no returns. I have described this set to the best of my knowlege and in good faith. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask before purchasing. For local pick-up: Greenville (Greene, not Orange County), NY 12083. Thanks, Dmitri Belyi
