Factory number is - 90SG44CQ This is for a new Echo brand replacement chain saw chain, made in the US. The package says PPT260 and PPT265 but this chain is used on several of the Echo split boom chain saw attachments and pole saws. However, this chain will only fit .043 gauge bars; your bar should be stamped with this information. The chain itself is known as 90 which indicates the chain has a 3/8 length link, and this number is stamped into each drive lug of the chain (see the photo). Your old chain should have the same information on it if it is an original Echo or Oregon. This chain is for 12 inch bars and has 44 drive links (the tab that sticks down from the top of the chain which engage the matching saw sprockets. Don't worry about the SG or CQ portions of the part number; these letters change frequently and may be different from what your manual says is needed, but the important information is this: .043 gauge, 3/8 pitch chain, and 44 drive links. Chains with this same information will interchange. If you are not for certain if this will fit your saw, ask a friend for guidance. I actually bought this extra chain for my PPT260 chain saw attachment which I thought had a 12" bar. After several years of occasionally using the original chain, I decided to replace it and found this new chain was too long; I actually had a 10" bar on my saw. Hence, I cannot use this chain.
